He is currently training for the 2025 Factory Gun Nationals and Race Gun Nationals. Dennis hosts training sessions every Wednesday at the Phoenix Rod and Gun Club and voluntarily teaches law enforcement officers at the end of each month. This is an introductory, beginner-friendly class designed for individuals interested in competition shooting. Competition shooting includes practical matches such as USPSA, IDPA, PCSL, 1-GUN, MULTIGUN, and more. Please note that this class is not suitable for individuals completely new to firearms or shooting. If you require foundational firearm training, please contact me directly. In this class, we will cover handgun fundamentals, competition equipment, competition rules, target scoring, stage etiquette, and safety protocols. Participants will have the opportunity to shoot four scenario stages, simulating a live competition experience. You'll also have the chance to run each stage multiple times. This training is structured to ensure you are comfortable registering for matches through practiscore.com and arriving at competitions confident and well-prepared. *Safety & Range Rules:* The session will operate as a COLD RANGE. Firearms may ONLY be loaded (HOT) at the "Make Ready" command for your stage.
