Membership

Potential Member! Thank you for your interest in PRGC. This club, founded in 1937, has long been known as the center of marksmanship excellence and expertise in the Phoenix area. Located where 7th Avenue meets the base of South Mountain Park, adjacent to the Phoenix Police Academy.

To ensure safe and legal range operation and encourage dedicated shooters to join our club we have a few simple membership requirements.

Prospective members joining the club will pay a $75.00 initiation fee plus their membership dues. This is your investment into everything this club has bought and built over the past 80 years.

Annual membership dues are $125.00 for annual individual or $150.00 for annual family membership. 5-year rates for individual are $500.00 and family memberships are $600.00. Family Membership are defined as one regular member, plus a spouse or domestic partner, not children or siblings.

New members joining throughout the year may be able to join at a prorated amount for their annual dues.

New Member Initiation Fee $75.00

Memberships are good from September 1st through August 31st. It is the Member's responsibility to renew their membership annually before the end of the Club's fiscal year. Membership and shooting opportunities are available to those eligible to use firearms without regard to, race, religion, and/or gender.

Every club member:

  • Must be legally permitted to own firearms per the questions on the ATF Form 4473.
  • Will sign an oath of non-violence and release of liability (on the application form).
  • Read and understand PRGC rules and policies posted on our website.
  • Agree to obey the posted signs, range rules and range commands.
  • Be knowledgeable in safe firearms handling and range etiquette.


New member applicants will, upon fee payment, be:

  • Considered for approval by the Membership Secretary.
  • Given a range tour and basic safety briefing.


Upon approval for membership, issued a membership card and gate code. Club members have daily range access from 7am to sundown, matches and events have priority over members and are posted on the club website. All matches are open to the public to participate for a match fee. Each member can bring guest under supervision.

Prospective members, please apply online. If you are unable to complete the online form, then fill out the New Membership Application and bring it to our office during working hours or mail it in to the club address listed on that form. All New members printing the application must also complete the annual club waiver.

Renewing Members please fill out the Membership Renewal Form or renew online.

To log in to the website and renew your membership online:

  • Go to Login page. Your user name is your email address.
  • If you don't remember your password, you can reset it here
  • Once you are logged in, select Members Only -> My Profile menu option or click here to open your profile page
  • If your membership expires this year, click the Renew button and follow the instructions on the next screen.

MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL LATE FEES: Club Memberships expire on the 31st of August and renewals must be received no later than that date of they will incur a late fee.

  • Renewals postmarked or received on Sept 1st up until Oct 1st shall incur an additional $30 fee.
  • Renewals postmarked or received on Oct 1st up until Nov 1st shall incur an additional $60 fee.
  • Renewals postmarked or received on Nov 1st and later shall incur an additional $75 fee.
