Welcome to the PRGC Practical Night Match.

This is an IDPA style match using basic IDPA 2017 rules and targets, however some things have been changed for safety reasons and to make things fun for all.
There will be a combination of flashlight only, flashlight and/or gun mounted lights, and only ambient light stages.

LIGHTS:
- Hand held flashlights, gun mounted lights and gun mounted lasers are the only lights allowed. AKA: No headlamps nor hand held lasers will be allowed.
- White lights are only allowed on while you are shooting.
- Everyone is required to have a handheld a small red light and it must be on anytime you are down range of the safety rope.   If you do not have a red lens, we will provide translucent red tape to cover your light’s lens.
- All lights will be be in the off position until the starting buzzard goes off on all stages.
- Each stage will have a green light (controlled by the CSO) to denote if the state of the stage.
— If the green light is ON, the stage is COLD and clear for participants to move down range of the safety rope (i.e. rear stage boundary line).
— If the green light is OFF, the stage is declared HOT and nobody but the shooter and SOs are allowed down range of the safety rope (i.e. rear stage boundary line).

RELOADING:
- You may reload anywhere and anytime without penalty.
- You may drop loaded mags and/or leave live ammo on the ground without penalty.
- You may reload even if the gun is not empty (i.e. one in the pipe) without penalty.

FAULT LINES:
- There will only be forward fault lines, so there is no slicing the pie or cake :-).
- Since there is a forward fault line, everything is near to far, which will be clearly marked in the stage descriptions.

CONCEALMENT:
Not required on any stage.

DQ OFFENSES:
- The use of a headlamp anywhere on the range.
- The stage boundary lines are clearly defined by the roped off areas and illuminate with glow sticks.
- Crossing the safety rope (i.e. rear stage boundary line) before the range is declared “clear” AND the stage is declared COLD (by the CSO turning on the green light).

DIVISIONS / CLASSIFICATIONS:
- Divisions will be based off of disciplines. Based on the division you have chosen, the pistol, the holster, and loading devices must be legal for that division. Or stated another way, if you choose IDPA / REV, it must be a legal IDPA revolver, I.e. SSR or ESR compliant revolver. If you choose USPSA / Production, it must be a legal USPSA production weapon, and so forth. Shooters are permitted to wear their police/swat duty belts similar to IDPA, but you will not be required to wear all the other gear normally worn on the belt, i.e. batons, pepper spray, etc.
- Classifications will be normalized into 6 classifications:
-- M: will be used for IDPA’s DM and M as well as USPSA’s GM and M classifications
-- A: will be used for IDPA’s EX as well as USPSA’s A classifications
-- B: will be used for IDPA’s SS as well as USPSA’s B classifications
-- C: will be used for IDPA’s MM as well as USPSA’s C classifications
-- D: will be used for IDPA’s NV as well as USPSA’s D classifications
-- U: will be used for unclassified shooters
